The Age of Steam Roundhouse Museum welcomes volunteers to help us in the fulfillment of our mission.
The Age of Steam Roundhouse Museum works to build and train a team of enthusiastic and committed volunteers. Volunteers should be passionate about the history of American railroading and/or the physical science behind the operation of steam locomotives. We’re looking for community-oriented volunteers with a lifelong love for learning who will be comfortable engaging the public by either leading or assisting tour groups, working in our restoration shop, and more. Do you love steam locomotive history? Then the Roundhouse would be a great place for you to become a volunteer and share your knowledge, your experience, your enthusiasm for the Golden Age of Railroads.
